Many people who were not baptised as infants choose to join the Catholic Church at a later stage in life . These people are normally asked to join the RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults) programme; the full course normally takes about a year. Please speak to Fr Alex. to make arrangements.

The blessing of houses is a traditional practice requested by Catholics usually when they first move into a new home to bring God’s presence and goodness. Please speak to Fr Alex. to make arrangements.

Although we are disturbed by death Catholics do not believe it is the end. Through our baptism we hope to follow Christ into the new life of heaven. When someone dies a priest should be notified as soon as possible so that the he may meet with the family of the deceased and begin making arrangements for the funeral.

Gift Aid makes a big difference to our parish at no extra cost to you. If you are a UK taxpayer and not already signed up, please consider joining our Gift Aid scheme. Every £1 you give is worth £1.25 to the parish through Gift Aid. Forms are available at the back of the church. Thank you for your support.
